Mazi Robinson, MS, LPC, CPCS, NCC, Founder and Director
Hi! Welcome to Cultivate! I am so glad you’re here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC006005) and have been practicing for almost two decades specializing in helping women discover their true voice as they navigate self worth/self esteem challenges, relationship concerns, and life stage transitions. I also specialize in working with codependency and boundaries, toxic/narcissistic relationships and abuse, midlife transition concerns, and female leaders/working professionals.
I believe counseling can help you move from the life you are wrestling in to the life you were created to live. I help my clients develop self awareness regarding their thoughts, feelings, and actions while understanding and healing the past events that influence their present patterns and relationships.
I have extensive training and experience working with addiction and recovery having worked on Ridgeview Institute’s Adult Addiction Unit and at MARR (Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences) Women’s Recovery Center. I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University and have a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University. I am also a Certified Professional Counseling Supervisor (CPS1433)
In addition to my work as an Atlanta therapist, I maintain an active motivational speaking schedule presenting workshops on such topics as women’s issues, emotional health, healthy relationships, self worth, personal growth and development, leadership development, living with courage and purpose. I have had the privilege of presenting to such groups and organizations as The Home Depot, Chick-fil-A, CREW Atlanta, Booster, Holder Construction, Georgia Institute of Technology, COSLA, North Point Community Church, Buckhead Church, Peachtree Presbyterian Church, Georgia Public Library System, Public Finance Leadership Academy, and other government organizations churches, schools, and non-profits throughout the country.
I am a Daring Way Trained Facilitator, and present both Daring Way™ and Rising Strong retreats and workshops, which are based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, to individuals and groups. I believe this valuable work on shame, vulnerability and learning to live courageously is truly life changing in how we view ourselves and relate to others.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I taught History at Marist School in Atlanta, Georgia. I reside in Atlanta, GA with my husband and two sons. I love a good deep dive into random current events, getaways with my family, and dinner on a porch with friends.
