gatherings

Founded in 2017, our Gatherings are a place and resource for the women of Atlanta to learn and grow together. These events are free and open to women of every age, stage, and season. They provide the opportunity for community with other women who are also pursuing personal growth and spiritual development. You’re invited to connect with new and old friends, learn from other's stories of courage and faith, and dig deep into topics that touch your life.

Cultivate Gatherings are guided by our deeply held belief that you are loved by a good God, and that your worth is not tied to how much you do, the impressiveness of your resume, or the fullness of your calendar. When you live rooted and established in this love, you cultivate joy in the everyday, courage to face your fears and insecurities, and freedom to live as you were created.

Every topic, speaker, and song is selected with you in mind. Every detail, from the refreshments to the decor and the personal touches, are intentionally prepared to communicate that your worth is unchanging, unshakable, and rooted in grace.  Cultivate is a place you can see old friends, meet new acquaintances, and receive truth and encouragement for whatever stage, season, or struggle you might be facing.

Through our Gatherings, we hope to spread this message of love, providing you with the inviting environment and tangible resources to cultivate joy, courage and freedom in your life.

CULTIVATE GATHERING

Everyone is Hanging Out Without Me… and other lies I tell myself

September 18th | 7:30PM

Have you ever scrolled on social media and hit the brakes on a post that has everyone you know at a dinner… and you weren’t invited to the dinner?
Have you ever been at an event where you’re laughing and having a good time but inside something feels off?
Do you know a lot of people but don’t always feel known?

Many of us have these experiences or similar ones, and they leave us leave us second guessing, doubting ourselves, and a little confused.  These experiences awaken a feeling that most of us really don’t like, try to avoid, and don’t even want to admit.

We feel…lonely.

We are connected with more people than ever before in history, but we are living in this paradox where more and more people report feeling lonely, not having a sense of true belonging, and wanting more connection in our lives. Yet, more and more things in our lives are isolating us- Hello busy schedules and delivery for everything!

Why do we feel disconnected?  How is that possible in this day and age?

Why does self-doubt so often accompany our social doubt?

How is loneliness actually a signal trying to tell us something and are we listening?

What is the difference between being connected and experiencing meaningful connection?

What are the antidotes to loneliness and how do we build meaningful connection
where it matters in our lives?

Join Cultivate Founder/Director Mazi Robinson as she and fellow therapists Sarah Collins, Andi O’Bryan, and Kate Ferguson discuss these and other topics related to belonging, connection, and being in relationship with ourselves and others.

You do not want to miss this night. Through laughter, vulnerability, and storytelling we are going to name the experiences and emotions so many of us feel, yet never talk about.

This night is for us.
This night is for you.

Come for the good words and leave feeling seen, known, and not as alone.

Our Gatherings are free and open to women of all ages and stages.
All are welcome so please feel free to invite friends and family!
