Finding Your Focus

Overcoming Midlife Brain Fog and
Reclaiming Your Focus and Concentration

Are you experiencing increased brain fog and trouble focusing?

Is it harder for you to remember everything from someone’s name to an upcoming event?

Does your attention span and concentration seem shorter these days?

For many women in their 40s and 50s, something shifts. Tasks that once felt manageable now require more effort. Decision making feels heavier and follow-through becomes less consistent. For so many of us, the mental load of work, family, and daily life feels harder to organize.

For those with ADHD or those experiencing the hormonal shifts that impact attention, energy, and cognitive clarity, these changes can feel confusing, disorienting, and stressful. We wonder what is going on with us and if our focus and recall will ever return!

This shift is not about motivation. It it about cognitive load.

Join us for a conversation with Executive Function Coach Dr. Marlena Reese on Thursday, March 23rd as we discuss the changes occurring in our minds and bodies and how to respond with clarity and direction with improved executive function. Executive function is not a measure of how capable you are. Rather, it is a reflection of how accessible your skills are in a given moment, under real-life conditions.

Together, we will explore:

●      How executive function is influenced by cognitive load, life roles, and hormonal shifts

●      Why decision fatigue plays a central role in feeling stuck or overwhelmed

●      How to reduce unnecessary decisions and mental strain

●      How to identify what matters in this season—and what can be released

●      How to build simple, consistent supports that do not rely on bursts of effort
