“Adulting Lessons: Learning to Raise Ourselves”
Storyteller~ Judi Jackson
Guest Speaker~ Sarah Bragg, author of A Mother’s Guide to Raising Herself
Adulting is hard, right? The ups and downs, the uncertainty and responsibility. Sometimes we may feel like we are knocking it out of the park, and other times we may feel completely clueless. These past 18 months have required a lot of us, but they have really required us to ADULT. Big time!
At our September Gathering, we welcomed Sarah Bragg, author and popular podcastor, and she shared the lessons she learned about raising herself as she embarked on the journey of raising her two daughters. It's easy to lose our sense of self in our day to day responsibilities, but Sarah reminds us that the best gift we can bring to our all of our relationships is our true, authentic selves. Through vulnerable and relatable stories, no-nonsense wisdom, and a compassionate perspective for all the joys and challenges of adulthood, Sarah provides shame-free practical help to surviving right where you are in life, in relationships, in work, and in faith.
